It doesn't offend me at all that we'd take advantage of 3D hardware,
or that we'd depend on a working OpenGL. It only bothers me that
(presumably) it increases the hardware requirements.
Unless a clutter engine can work OK with software rendering? With lots
of stuff disabled maybe? Is that plausible?
