That in effect perhaps raises the important question "So who would be a
good member of the Board?".

In the years that I have been very peripherally associated (member of
Membership Committee which gets the infrequent stick only during
election time <smile>), I somehow feel that the general perception is
still that "rockstars rule the GNOME Board". We think ourselves as a
global foundation and it would be awesome to have a more reach out.
There are increasing number of GNOME contributors who would fit the "So
who would be a good member of the Board?" question. One of the tiny
aspects of the Board and the related groups within the Foundation might
be to keep a note of such people. They would go a long way in making the
Foundation and the Board efficient, effective and energetic.
