"pure american institution" is of course totally untrue - non-US
members include Miguel, Kjartan Maraas, James Henstridge, and John
Harper. That's 4/9. We also have a pretty good cross-section of the 
projects that make up GNOME.

As for "never elected", that is why we're doing the GNOME Foundation.
If anyone has concerns about the GNOME Foundation they need to bring
them up on foundation-list as soon as possible.
