Hi,
while I'm quite unhappy with many aspects of f-spot myself (database
is a mess, duplicate detection unreliable to broken, and I absolutely
can not stand the idea that no one will ever change anything to do
with pictures outside of f-spot (hence there is no need for a button
asking f-spot to bloody well go and re-parse some of its database)), I
might be able to help with some aspects...

This should not happen. Could it be something outside of f-spot is
deleting the thumbnails?

You mean the -b option is absent from your version of f-spot?

No doubt. Stability is not f-spot's strong point.

Yeah. But you changed the date outside of f-spot, didn't you? See
above for my comment about it being nice to be able to re-parse some of
the database (at the moment, all you can do is export/import).
