The use case scenario [2] where father Ron Tux and daughter Carla both use F-Spot with the same database to save some work tagging and categorizing images. In this case Carla imported 500 images from their camera over two weeks. Not having used the computer for three weeks, when Ron opened F-Spot, he was a little bit annoyed because it took some time until he could view the images, because the thumbnails had not yet been generated.
