[Evolution] how to debug RSVPs

Hi,

I am using Evolution 3.44.0-1 (Ubuntu Jammy). When I get meeting
invitations with RSVPs, the RSVP buttons appear and the meeting is saved
in my calendar, but the sender does not get my response.

How can I debug this? I read
https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/Evolution/Debugging but could not generate
log messages about this with the options I tried. Do the reply mails get
saved anywhere?

(Happy to compile from source if that is necessary).
