PS: ...and without uninstalling any packages at all.

What was already mentioned several times is, that all Evolution related
processes/threads should be terminated _successfully_, so that no
Evolution related files are open, (usually) "ps aux" and "lsof" should
be enough to see Evolution related leftovers.
