it looks like you send the same thing multiple times. It's quite
confusing, at least to me. Could you stop doing that, please?

For the actual point, there's sometimes shown a reason why you are
asked for the credentials. Review that dialog carefully, especially the
text above the web page where you write the credentials. That can give
a clue.
