      Hi,
I tried with the message you sent me and both when I see it as part
of
the attachment and when I import it as a separate message, it is
shown
properly here (see attached screenshot).

I'd not expect too much difference between local Maildir (where I
imported it) and IMAP, also because I received your message through
IMAP, though as an attachment.

What do you see instead of those fancy emoji icons, please?

I tried with the current development version of evolution (to be
3.31.1
the next week) and webkit2gtk3-2.20.2-1. The part shown in message
preview is fully drawn by WebKitGTK+ and when talking about it, it
reminded me of https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=789264 .

Does at least the message list show the emojis properly, similar to
what I see?
      Bye,
      Milan

P.S.: by the way, reply to the list (Ctrl+L) is perfectly fine by me.

Milan,

I imported the message from a file (didn't think to try that) to "On
This Computer" and it displays nearly perfectly - the aircraft is
incorrectly oriented (E rather than NE - a font issue?) in the header
details of the message pane.
If I import it into my regular mail account the import fails. So the
issue looks to be communication between Courier and Evolution. I will
also raise the matter on the Courier mailing list and see what happens.

Neil.
