Re: [Evolution] Mails lost with Evolution 3.10.4 on Mint Cinnamon

I have had same problems with evolution 3.10.4 and earlier versions that Mr. Howe reported, particularly when dealing with less than optimum connections.  It may be that the communications software associated with the OS Mr. Howe is using is not up to current standards.

However, I have not had problems with 3.16.0 running under Ubuntu 15.04 64-bit on a DELL Vostro 3500 laptop, even when dealing with less than optimum connections.

I'm surprised Evo is losing email. That should never happen. However if you are using POP (you don't say anything about your setup) you might consider switching to IMAP and keeping your mail on the server. poc _______________________________________________ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list gnome org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
