Those releases ARE stable. Any even-numbered release is considered a
stable release. I suppose you mean, when the evolution-mapi backend for
Evolution will stabilize?
I have no idea; I'm not particularly optimistic at the moment. It
doesn't seem to be much of a priority with anyone: I filed a number of
(what I consider) serious bugs a few months ago and most haven't been
updated. The support for MAPI is non-functional enough (for me, anyway)
that I can't use it as my daily email client, and that really impacts
the amount of extra testing and bug filing (and bug fixing) I can do on
it... if those bugs have been addressed in the code, but not noted in
bugzilla, then I wouldn't know.
I encourage you to try it for yourself, though: it must work to some
extent for some people.

Argh. Obviously I meant IMAP here, not MAPI.
