Thanks. Any idea when 2.28 or 2.30 would become stable?

Please don't top post.

Those releases ARE stable. Any even-numbered release is considered a
stable release. I suppose you mean, when the evolution-mapi backend for
Evolution will stabilize?

I have no idea; I'm not particularly optimistic at the moment. It
doesn't seem to be much of a priority with anyone: I filed a number of
(what I consider) serious bugs a few months ago and most haven't been
updated. The support for MAPI is non-functional enough (for me, anyway)
that I can't use it as my daily email client, and that really impacts
the amount of extra testing and bug filing (and bug fixing) I can do on
it... if those bugs have been addressed in the code, but not noted in
bugzilla, then I wouldn't know.

I encourage you to try it for yourself, though: it must work to some
extent for some people.

The only way to connnect to an Exchange 2007 server with Evolution 2.26 is
to configure MAPI on the Exchange server and use that--obviously you get no
calendaring that way.

Argh. Obviously I meant IMAP here, not MAPI.
