Just add a new address book in Evolution and select "Google" as the
type (instead of "On This Computer"). Works well, except that you
can't use this address book if you're not connected to the network.
Very interesting. I guess it must be a recent addition. It's unfortunate
that there doesn't seem to be a way to select a subset of Google
Contacts, i.e. you get the whole thing. I synch my iPhone with a subset
to keep the size down.
