Does your signature appear in a manually-composed message?
Yes it does.
I note that
it doesn't appear on your post to the list, so maybe the problem has
nothing to do with scripting.
I post to the list from my private google-mail account. The account
I'm converting to Evolution is at work.
To use an automatic signature, you need to enable it under
Preferences-><account>->Identity->Signature.
The signature is already there.
I have used Evolution now and then for a long time (since the first
release), but not for this particular task. At work I have converted
several Windows boxes to use Thunderbird (when their Windows die I
will convert them to Linux and then they will use Evolution :) Since I
support the Windows/Thunderbird boxes I've used Thunderbird too, I use
both applications for different tasks. This particular task I've used
in Tb I've tried a couple of times to move to Evo but because of the
signature bump that has not been possible.
