Hi!

I have a lot of small scripts to quickly compose new mails with
subject and body filled. My problem is that my signature does not
appear in these mails. Is there a way to fix this?

What kind of scripts? Evo doesn't support scripting (supposedly Scheme
can be used but I've never seen anyone do it). If you post one of your
scripts perhaps the issue will become clearer.

 It's just a small BASH-script that I call for example "dolly":

#! /bin/bash
thunderbird 'mailto:<someone somewhere now>?subject=All of Me
&body=Hello Dolly.%0A %0AAll the best,%0AHelgi Ãrn%0A%0A'

Then I do Super+Space, GnomeDo pops up and I type "dolly" and the
ready mail pops up!

In Thunderbird. You do realize that this is an Evolution mailing list
don't you? It has nothing to do with TBird. You need to ask on a TBird
mailing list.

I am moving over from Thunderbird to Evolution. I'm orry if I upset
you by forgetting to change the name of the application. The question
is still the same; why doesn't my signature appear when I start a new
mail this way?

#! /bin/bash
evolution 'mailto:<someone somewhere now>?subject=All of Me
&body=Hello Dolly.%0A %0AAll the best,%0AHelgi Ãrn%0A%0A'

Then I do Super+Space, GnomeDo pops up and I type "dolly" and the
ready mail pops up!

PS: By the way since we mentioned Thunderbird; the signature appears
in Tb with the exact same script.

Does your signature appear in a manually-composed message? I note that
it doesn't appear on your post to the list, so maybe the problem has
nothing to do with scripting.

To use an automatic signature, you need to enable it under
Preferences-><account>->Identity->Signature.
