Re: [Evolution] How can I change the default location of my mail folders?

(Adding evolution-list back to Cc:)

Your e-mail address is in Suomi, yes?  Cool, well not at this time of year.

Yes, the summer has been nice so far.

So, the people that did the setup program are unknown or just elsewhere!?

Well, as you didn't say where you got the setup program from, it's
hard to say. I would *guess*, though, that it's the one originally
from here: http://www.dipconsultants.com/evolution/ that you are
using. Some quick googling seems to indicate that the same installer
is then redistributed by random more or less suspicious sites on the
net with little description of where it originates, and lacking
sources (which is a against the requirement of the license).

As far as I know, the installer is "just" a wrapping of the Evolution
binaries (and underlying libraries) cross-compiled on Linux for
Windows using the openSUSE build service, available as individual rpm
files here: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/windows:/mingw:/win32/openSUSE_10.3/noarch/
. This cross-compilation system was set up by my dear colleague
Fridrich Strba.

Where and how do I edit the "HOME environment variable"?

For instance in the Control Panel's System applet.

Can I simply move the program to another drive without killing it or for
that matter, having to edit every thing?--

Yes, it should be completely relocatable, as long as you move the
installation folder as a whole, without moving files inside the tree
around.
