Hello, Is there is a way to conveniently edit the From: field when composing a new email? I use separate email addresses for all of the mailing lists i am subscribed to (in the form user+list domain), and in order to send replies to any of the lists, i am obligated to either: 1. create a new account entirely, or 2. modify an existing account temporarily. As i subscribe to more and more mailing lists, web forums, and so forth, i find that my list of addresses is growing to a level where having a separate account configuration for each is highly cumbersome. Likewise, editing an existing account each time i wish to respond to a list feels like a horrendous waste of time. If i could simply edit the From: field in the composer, it would solve both problems quite easily. I took a look at the mail archives, and noticed an item from 2005 in which somebody asked this very question. Unfortunately, there were no useful responses (i.e. "no, you can't do that."). I am curious to know if - 2.5 years later - this functionality has been added to Evolution. Thank you. -- Daniel Maher <dma AT witbe.net>
