Re: [Evolution] Mail from shell command line

It's even much more complicated.
After of lot of experimenting, i found out thaé&t as soon as i send
an header element like this :
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
evolution mailto:joe somewhere net?subject=annonce\&Content-Type: multipart/alternative;boundary="=-NcUCvCT6yGFh51EHCXAn"\&body='
Mime-Version: 1.0

--=-NcUCvCT6yGFh51EHCXAn
Content-Type: text/plain
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

This text is fat

and this one also

And this one is green/blueisch

end

--=-NcUCvCT6yGFh51EHCXAn
Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 TRANSITIONAL//EN">
<HTML>
<HEAD>
  <META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; CHARSET=UTF-8">
  <META NAME="GENERATOR" CONTENT="GtkHTML/3.8.0">
</HEAD>
<BODY>
<B>This text is fat</B><BR>
<!--+GtkHTML:<DATA class="ClueFlow" key="orig" value="0">--><BR>
<B>and this one also</B><BR>
<BR>
<FONT COLOR="#339966">And this one is green/blueisch </FONT><BR>
<BR>
end<BR>
<BR>
</BODY>
</HTML>

--=-NcUCvCT6yGFh51EHCXAn--
'
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
evolution crashes. I cannot insert the element ' &Content-Type: multipart/alternative;boundary="=-NcUCvCT6yGFh51EHCXAn" '
It does not matter what i write afterwards, evolution will crash

N.B. I tried to send a report with Bugbuddy, that does not work either, (but who cares, this list should be ok)

I'v red on some unix info site that evolution will also crash / refuse if I send any other header
(x-mailer, x-evolution, .....) element. I'll do some more testing, but would be really greatfull if I could get some hints from this list.

No, that does not work. I can use that for text, like in :
-----------------------------------------------
evolution mailto:joe somewhere net?subject=annonce\&body='
test
test
test
'
Only, as soon as I put in an image (also a problem: I like to put in a ref
only (HTML text ?) it will appear just as a block of characters
i cannot get evolution to interpret the mutipart / bounderies of mime, it's just all text.

just give ?body=<content>" on the command-line, just like you would do
it in a mailto: url
