set up a vfolder without any criterium, e.g. with "sender | is |
" (leave the text field at the end empty) and sources="all local
folders". now you have a virtual folder containing all your local mails.
go to that folder (it's at the bottom of your folders pane at the left)
and use the quick search bar to search.
ah yup, finally I got it, hadn't discovered that folder in the folder pane, eh?
