Prior to v2.4, they are called vFolders.

Sorry, I gotta dig a bit deeper here, I still don't really know how to search a message globel in Evolution 
2.2.1.
May anyone give me a dummie save step-by-step describtion? Thank you
very much, I don't really get that vFolder stuff...
