Hmm, this sounds really strange to me. What performance reasons? Evo or
the LDAP server? I'd like to hear the full rationale behind this step.

Oh, and in which way does this differ from an Advanced Search? Name
contains "e" OR Name does not contain "e". So this is still possible,
but we are annoying the user on purpose?
