Also if you are using IMAP-Protocol you would rather 
use IMAP provider than IMAP4. IMAP4 is not currently being worked upon
by any of the developers.

We use MDAEMON for our mail server and it uses IMAP not IMAP4.

Nah, please don't get me wrong.

I wasn't sighing cause you didn't know. Everyone once started without
the knowledge, progressing with time, learning.

That reaction was due to the need for detailed explanation, the
confusion about those various IMAP terms with different meanings in
different contexts, and Shreyas using those terms in a highly confusing
way. (Yes, he does know better.)


Hope my previous post explained the differences between the various IMAP
terms and their meaning in different contexts (protocol vs. Evo server
type).
