Yes, I would suspect a bug has already been filed about it (in gtkhtml module) &/or already fixed since 2.0.3.

Looks like something to do with your distro/how it packages/builds evolution.

gdb only really works on code with debug compiled in, but that makes the packages bloat significantly (10's of mb).
