[Evolution] Resuming from suspend

When resuming my laptop from suspended mode, a currently open Evolution session immediately complains (with pop-ups) about not being able to contact the servers. I would like to avoid seeing these, for this unnecessary case. Is there possibly a retry-count configuration setting that could fix this issue? Or is my only solution to stop and delay restart of the process in my suspend scripts.
