File a bug i guess and attach all of the messages.
(in full preferrably, but at least all the headers with any addresses
munged if you need to).
Unless you want to debug the threading code using gdb; which would
probably be a faster way to get it fixed, if you can build from source -
since I wouldn't see it as a particularly high-priority problem.

I just replied to a message on an internal mailing list that I'm

so why didn't it "thread"? I have the correct view, because other
messages in my inbox are "threaded", ie. indented one below the other,
but this one isn't.
If the original mail with the matching message-id is still in the same
mailbox, there's no reason it shouldn't thread. Unless there is
something else going on.
Well then, "there is something going on"!
Both messages are still in my inbox, unthreaded after a few restarts of
evolution.
A third message, a reply from the OP to myself, IS threaded under my
message, but none of them are under the original. Like so:
- A: original message from OP to list
- other emails
- B: reply to message 'A' from me to list
- C: reply to 'B' from OP to me
wierd huh? I still have all three messages in my inbox if you want
further info.
