Probably a CAVEAT would do, that evolution 1.4 and 1.5
won't coexist gracefully in respect of compiling subsequent
packages.
You can do it by removing the development headers of the "other" version
whenever you need to compile one - that's what I've been doing, but
you're right, it's not entirely elegant.
