I got impatient and decided to fiddle around. Since the error had "bonobo" in it, I installed the bonobo-conf deb; I had to force it to get it in, because it complained about missing something that is not in the collection of evolution debs. Somehow (I'm no expert with either apt-get or dpkg) that picked up the missing dependency. That didn't fix the problem. So then I installed the two debs that start with "ns"; I think they're connected to Netscape/Mozilla. Then Evolution started working just fine.On Thu, 2003-01-30 at 18:45, Not Zed wrote: > try oaf-slay first? Hmm, rather it sounds like the new Wombat is not starting up (maybe some broken deps?). What happens if you launch `wombat' on the command-line after a `killev'?
