Yes, but one might not want it to -- the [Evolution] tag on this message
is useless to me, as it is in my "Evolution" folder, so I don't need to
see "[Evolution]" in all the subject lines. 

However, if this was cross-posted to another list as well (e.g. "Foo
Bar") it may be useful to have their "[foobar]" tag in the subject line,
as it won't be in my "Foo Bar" folder as I don't normally subscribe to
foobar-discuss.

It all comes down to a question of duplication of information. If a
message is in my "Evolution" folder, I don't need a "[Evolution]" tag in
the subject line to tell me it's from the evolution mailing list. 

On that note, is there any way to get rid of that grey bar between the
toolbar and the search panel (short of patching and recompiling)? The
information/space trade-off on that thing is way too low for my tastes.
