... as soon as evolution-pilot is installed, which I took as an "excuse" for 
upgrading to 1.2.4 - now synchronization works nicely.

First thing I notice, though, is that appointments seem only to be 
synchronized (or displayed by Evolution) if
- they are recurring, or
- they have an attached note

Is that observation correct?
