Just checked the mail from Anna, which summarized our efforts,
discussions, and flame wars back in February. Her design (hopefully
integrated in 1.4) let you choose, to which dictionary new words will be
added.

IMHO that is a good way -- although I _really_ do hope for a user
dictionary, that will survive package updates.
