Re: [Evolution] Viewing a log?

Mikhail,

Is there a way to do this?

As Janus said, you can add an 'Original location' column. I missed that.

Meantime, I quickly hacked a short script, that writes a custom log
file. Add another 'Criterion' to any Filter, you want to log:

Pipe Message to Shell Command
 /home/mikhail/bin/log <dest>
 returns
 0

The <dest> placeholder should be distinct for any Filter. For example
the name of the folder where the mail is moved to.

The script is attached. That will produce a log file 'mail-log' with
entries like that example:

mailing-list/evolution
 From: Mikhail Ramendik <mr ramendik ru>
 Subject: [Evolution] Viewing a log?
 Date: 06 Apr 2003 22:17:11 +0400

Watch that log-file with 'tail -f' in a console.

main(){ char h,m=h=*t++,*x=t+2*h,c,i,l=*x,s=0; for (i=0;i<l;i++){ i%8? c<<=1:
(c=*++x); c&128 && (s+=h); if (!(h>>=1)||!t[s+h]){ putchar(t[s]);h=m;s=0; }}}
