Uh, no. If plain ASCII text and numbers (not even punctuation) aren't

yes a \r or \n is sufficient to cause LDAP to Base64 encode it b/c a
linefeed in the ldif spec signals the end of an attribute, so you cannot
include a raw linefeed in an attribute.
