Ummm, nope, that wouldn't work. I have a pop account for work, an imap
account for my ISP and an imap account for my personal mail, but the
personal account has 10 or so aliases to it. So, this behavior would
not work for me.

Hm, maybe we could do:
if (number_of_remote_stores == 1)
identity = guess_from_message()
else
identity = guess_from_store_uri()
if (identity == NULL)
identity = default_identity()
I think that would cover things pretty well.
