And how do you pass the password to ssh? Normally it opens your tty and
asks it directly doesn't it?
Yeah, that's a problem. I guess you'd have to create a new tty for it (which
I have no experience with). Or expect-script could work too.
Sounds a bit messy. I thought ssh used to pop its own x dialogue box up
for a passphrase if it had no tty or something too?
It doesn't seem a particularly useful way to run imap for most people.
Not for those that would be running imap server anyway, but for some
accounts that I use I'd much rather just install imap binary than leave a
server listening and getting exploited.
Well what hack do you have setup at present?
Given the way the imap code is structured, it seems like a bit of a
change to implement.
