please submit this as a bug in evolution/mail on bugzilla.ximian.com.
The charset detection code isn't working right (i think), although it
should detect this case ok. It may also be a local configuration
problem with iconv not working right.
I'm not sure what you mean by the last bit, are you saying the
characters remain in quoted printable when the attachment is saved, or
that the characters come out as _'s etc.

inside HTML attachment polish characters are unreadable in evolution
window (when I save attachment to file too).
i.e.: ę= 'EA' (ISO-8859-2) = 'C3=84=C2=99' (????)
Could somebody help me?
