[Evolution] Beta 4/gal 0.12 on Mandrake 8.0?

Is anyone currently running evolution 0.14 on Mandrake 8.0? Without an
rpm from Mandrake, I've been trying to build it myself, but am getting
hung up on gal; although I can compile and install gal 0.12 from ximian,
evo .14's config only finds the previous rpm that I have installed
(version 0.11.2). What am I missing here?
