Re: [Evolution] Beta3 dependency issue

Evolution only depends on the low-level libraries within Mozilla like
libnspr4 and libnss3, which are needed for SSL and some day down the
line S/MIME.

Oh developers, we do implore that ye deliver this wonderful innocent

to gtkhtml, and why is evolution now needing mozilla?

Are you kidding? Evo depends on Bloatzilla?!!! You mean I can't clean
that thing off my hard drive once Opera and Evolution are matured and
stable? Excuse me while I scream! OK, so please tell me I
misunderstood. I thought gtkhtml took care of html rendering and
editing!

It's on ftp.ximian.com/pub/ximian-gnome/ so it should be available via
red-carpet. If you are using a mirror and you don't see it via RC, we'd
like to know about it so that we can make sure the mirror is up-to-date.

I've tried to upgrade to Evo Beta3 using RedCarpet on a RedHat 6.2
system, but haven't been able to do it because of dependencies on
Mozilla 0.93. Evo seems to require mozilla 0.93 which I can't find
through RedCarpet (or anywhere else as an rpm for RH 6.2). Is there
some way to satisfy the dependency for Evo?
Thanks,
Scott
