yeah, i'm with Raimund on this too, but if it means what i think it
means i will require source and recompile.  i'm running a debian
unstable package, can i fix it without source?  i guess i could get the
debian source package and recompile a new package, or i could just get
cvs and compile, but i'm lazy and busy.  any way of avoiding this?

there is no need to recompile everything. You just need the evo sources,
run configure (or autogen.sh if you use CVS), and then:

cd calendar/gui
make GNOME_Evolution_Calendar.oaf
cp GNOME_Evolution_Calendar.oaf /usr/share/oaf

or even better, ask somebody to send it to you :-) (Attached)
