This feature is avaiable now. You can either create a filter to do
this, or much easier, right-click on one of the emails from the list and
select Create Rule From Message | Filter on Mailing List. (I think this
only works for lists that have X-Been-There in the header).
I don't think that's quite what he is refering to. Kmail allows you to
drop incoming mail from a source directly in to a specific folder (as
opposed to the default inbox). Say I have a pop account somewhere and I
don't want that mail mixed in with several other accounts I regularly
check. I can drop mail from that special account to a specific folder
(ie: "Special Mail"). And of course, this can be done with any source
Kmail supports (ie: pop3, imap, mbox file, etc, etc).
Hmmm. Not sure how this works with one's filter rule sets though.
Perhapse filters only apply to the default inbox? (shrug).
Anyway... always thought this was an interesting feature. I see
Evolution has a filter rule "Source", though I haven't played with it at
all. Does this provide simular functionality?
