This is what I'm waiting for.

I need to be able to use PINE to read my mail if I'm ssh'd into my box, but
when I'm at my desktop I'd like to use Evolution.

I looked in the FAQ on ximian's site today and question #5 was of this
nature.

The response....

"No. But it's a planned feature."

Technically Evolution is useless to me unless I can read my mail from my
mail folders without importing them. Balsa's just not strong enough....

...or just have an option to take it off? Pine has the "enable sig dashes"
option; Evolution needs a similar option. Look at my sig, I use an
alternative to the --.
Also, the ability to change trhe quote character from something other than a
'>' would be nice.

Yep. Noticed this too. Reeks of Netscape style message editing.

I just joined this list, andit's nice to see that the things I think need
improvement have been posted just before I was about to voice them myself.
At least I know I'm not alone.
