[Evolution] cvs compile problem

Hello List,

I'm having a little trouble getting Evolution to compile from cvs. The 
relevant error message:

checking for db3 compiler flags... 
checking for db.h... yes
checking db3 header version... configure: error: Found db.h is not version 
3.1.17

from dpkg --list 'libdb3*':

ii  libdb3                              3.2.9-11                      
ii  libdb3-dev                       3.2.9-11

Is there anyway I can compile evolution without having the older version of 
the header?
