[Evolution] gal > 0.8?

Based on the less than wonderful response to my bugzilla report, how can 
I get the 
gal stuff that evolution needs for FreeBSD? 

The FreeBSD ports system has 0.8, and all the mirrors I looked at have 
0.8.

Evolution 0.10 apparently needs later than that.

This is FRUSTRATING, as I'm REALLY looking for a good 
Mail/News/Contact/etc client.
