Actually, I think the POP thing might be a bug. Well, Expunge should
never expunge the POP provider, but when we finish downloading/marking
messages as deleted in the POP provider, we should be sync()ing and
expunging - at least I think.

Doesn't this still leave the deleted mail in the folder it was deleted from,
taking up space there instead of a separate "Trash" folder?

One other related problem I have noticed is that "Expunge" and
"Empty Trash" remove messages from the local message store, but 
don't actually remove the messages from a POP3 server until 
Evolution exits.  I was able to spot this while running Webmail
to my ISP's mail server.  The remote trash folder contained
all the deleted messages until I exited from Evolution.
