It's not like he's asking for the world; just a bit more attention to detail
in the packaging to provide ease of use for the end-user.

You have to realize that the core desktop team (the packaging people)
has a lot of other work to do. Building Evolution snapshot packages is
not only project they are working on. Keep in mind that the Evolution
codebase changes rapidly, and sometimes it's not possible to change the
build system setup to reflect the changes (ie. build stopped a few times
because of last minute bumping up of version numbers.)

I'm sure that the team is working hard to provide good complete snapshot
packages, but if you're that desparate for daily builds, you can still
check out the code from CVS.
