How can you trick Red Carpet the way you are talking about?
Oh. You edit your "mandrake-release" file to say "Red Hat" and not "Linux
Mandrake". Reboot, and then RC thinks you're on RH.
There's instructions in the mailing list archives. When I get home tonight,
I can email you a RH-formatted mandrake-release file.
Since the snapshots are only compiled for RH 6 and 7, and Debian, this is
the only way I found to get RC to get the snaps for you.

The RedHat RPMs from ftp work.
Yes, I know. That's how I used to use red carpet - by convincing it that
I was actually using Red Hat 6.2 instead. However, I had hoped that
since the new official version of Red Carpet supports Mandrake 7.2, that
there might be a channel for Evo.
Looks like I'll still have to lie to RC, so I can get the RH snaps.
