I dont see why that would make any difference.

If its not showing up in the log, its not even running the filter.  The
filter runs on the summary, not on the on-disk sync'd copy, or should
rather.

Actually, nothing happens as far as I can tell, also the
evolution-filter-log is not modified. The message stays in the Inbox and
the destination folder doesn't even get a copy. Could perhaps someone
try to reproduce the situation?
