[Evolution] POP crashes

Hi,

        I'm using Evolution .5.1 over RH 6.2.

        POP fetching crashes evolution-mail.

Evolution says:

*** Message -- STARTING Fetching email from pop://acr mailhost engr uconn edu
*** Message -- MESSAGE

and then reports a crash of evolution-mail. Here is a backtrace of
evolution-mail (gdb):
