Could you possibly provide a backtrace? Remove
~/evolution/local/Calendar/calendar* and
~/evolution/local/Calendar/pilot-map* (this will remove your entire
calendar).
1. killall gpilotd
2. gdb gpilotd
3. type 'r' at the prompt
4. Do the sync

I will check 2 and 3 out - what day do your weeks start on? (monday or
sunday)?
