Perhaps you should learn a little more about what Miguel has said
before you mis-speak for him in order to advance your own point
of view.
Thats a fair comment, I probably should have explained my point a bit
more here.
Miguel has often been quoted as saying he admires this or that M$
product, I am
thinking of Gnumeric here (as in the general context I recall his
comments coming from)
All that said, I truly do not speak for Miguel.
I do however feel that chasing the look and feel so closely as to forgo
"innovation" is not a good thing. Sure Outlook is a great product, but
does that
really meant the people cant use Evolution unless it looks like
Outlook?
I refer to things like the short cut bar, X gadget on the floders lsit,
the Contacts is a blatant rip of of Outlook, and this I really think
could
be improved as I really find the Outlook contact management poor.
But hey, it's just my view and in the end I will be using Evolution, and
I
am not hacking on it so I can only voice an opinion.
