The anoncvs thing is a very bad idea. I have not had a single attempt to access
the CVS servers ever succeed on the first try. This seems to get echoed by a
number of other people on this list and the other gnome lists quite a bit, but
no one ever actually suggests fixing anything. The answer is always to just
keep trying. The fact is that by the time some of us post to the list, we've
already tried sometimes dozens of times without a successful login. This is
very bad indeed for the future development of gnome. Imagine if the end users
had to access the cvs server?!
